Blog

I am a keen science communication enthusiast. I strongly believe that social media and the Internet are powerful tools to reach out to people across the globe and to connect with the public.

Whilst undertaking my PhD, I served as the Social Media Coordinator of Research Bow, a postgraduate research blog from the School of Health in Social Science, University of Edinburgh. I manage Research Bow’s social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) to engage and reach the intended audience of our blog. In addition, I also managed the Twitter and Instagram accounts of YARNS project.

Over the course of my PhD, I have written several blog posts for 'Student Stories’ – the official University of Edinburgh student blog and vlog site. I also wrote a couple posts for Teaching Matters Blog, Research Data Service Blog, the Nursing Blog and Research Bow. See below the links to my blog posts.
