Teaching
Throughout my PhD, I have gained teaching experience and skills by tutoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students from different health disciplines in a variety of courses. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) which I obtained after completing the PgCert Academic Practice (Higher Education) programme.
My current post is specifically Life Sciences focused which includes clinical skills teaching. As part of my commitment to continuing professional development and improving the quality of clinical skills teaching, I will undertake part-time PgCert Simulation-based Clinical Education programme at the University of Edinburgh, starting in September 2022. I have been awarded a Staff Scholarship to study this programme.
